What material are BIRDY and BAMBY made of?
BIRDY AND BAMBY are made of a very hard-wearing and age-resistant sandwich laminate
The surfaces are made of colour-fast solid plastic, the insulation is made of water-resistant XPS
What is the difference to the conventional GRP-Styrofoam sandwich?
Unlike GRP, our top layer does not develop micro-cracks and fractures in the event of hail and damage,
through which water can penetrate. (Danger of so-called osmosis)
Also, our insulation (unlike polystyrene) does not absorb any significant amount of water
Is the base colour of BAMBY and BIRDY always white?
Yes, the surfaces are always white
Can BIRDY and BAMBY also be painted a different colour?
Yes, BIRDY and BAMBY can also be painted a different colour - but we advise against this.
Are BAMBY and BIRDY weatherproof?
Yes, they are absolutely weatherproof. What's more, they are built to be outside 365 days a year.
What life expectancy are BIRDY and BAMBY designed for?
The quality of the materials used means that they have a life expectancy of well over 50 years
Can I tow BIRDY and BAMBY with any vehicle?
Yes, BIRDY can be towed by all normal cars, BAMBY can be towed by almost all normal cars.
As always in life, there may be exceptions due to the large number of vehicles available
Is a ‘normal’ car driving licence sufficient for towing BIRDY and BAMBY?
Yes, you only need a ‘normal’ car driving licence to tow BIRDY and BAMBY - NOT a ‘trailer licence’

The permissible total weight of BIRDY is usually 300.00 kg - deviations are possible on request
